3 Ways to Practice
Option 1: Casual Conversation
This option focuses on building your confidence in speaking Japanese. Unnatural expressions and grammar mistakes are gently corrected in real-time. No preparation is required! However, to make the most of our lesson, it helps to think about topics you'd like to discuss and look up some useful vocabulary beforehand.
Option 2: Grammar in Action
Transform the grammar you've self-studied into practical skills for real conversations. Lesson time is dedicated to Q&A and active output practice. Recommended materials: GENKI (Minna no Nihongo and Dekiru Nihongo are also welcome!). When booking, please specify your textbook and the section you wish to focus on.
Option 3: Survival Japanese
Planning a trip to Japan? This plan is for you! Master essential phrases for restaurants, shopping, or any specific situation you'd like to practice. Learn the basic conversational skills you need to navigate your travels with ease and confidence. Please specify situation if you'd like to practice when booking.
Price: $30 USD / 4,500 JPY per 50-minute lesson
Cancellation Policy: Please notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time will be charged the full lesson fee.
Recommended Textbook for Option 2
GENKI
The primary textbook recommended for self-study beginners. It provides a balanced study of grammar, vocabulary, and culture to build a solid foundation. With clear English explanations, it is also perfect for self-guided study.
Other Study Resources
Flexible support for various textbooks like "Minna no Nihongo" or "Dekiru Nihongo" based on your goals. Please let me know which section or page of the textbook you want to practice when you book your lesson.
